hello, sorry for the extremely late response! congrats on class c though! OwO
it's good to see you working on fullbodies and backgrounds, but keep in mind how old your characters are when you draw their facial features. your anatomy is good for the most part, but it seems like their faces are a lot older than their bodies. in general, just do more fullbodies and more backgrounds! i feel like you could use a little work on colors too. for the most part, it seems like you just make colors darker when shading, instead of altering the hue a little bit. most people like to have cooler shadows are warmer highlights. so, for example, if i was painting grass, i would make the shadows a bit more blueish and the highlights leaning more towards yellow. hue-shifting can make yer colors a lot more interesting and make your piece look better overall.
congrats again! i suggest that you join our discord for quicker feedback and a nice community to help you out. c:
Please set your username to your site one, so an arbiter can assign your website rank to you. Otherwise, inactives/random people will be kicked. If you have a preferred name, put that in front, then in brackets put your site name afterward.
This chat is more convenient in the matter that you can directly paste screenshots (if you have Windows, use the Snipping Tool program) into chat and it loads :P It's also quicker to get feedback from other artists on the site. Discord's available as a web browser, separate program, and a phone app. So use whichever one's more convenient to ya~
Ay, we recently announced Artist Of The Month on the news page, which can be found by clicking the "News" button at the top of website. Please don't hesitate to PM me if you have any feedback/suggestions on the idea, as we'd love to hear them .
Art pouring out of yer brain? Too many threads to handle? We suggest you make ONE thread and post all of your art as new posts to keep track of them all and make them easy to find ^^ Then you could also look back on old feedback
