Okay so, I found this website on Pukeh's page and wanted to join to get better at art. I've been doing hand drawings up to now, and I've been wondering if anyone has any suggestions on an art app I could use for drawing.
Well, if you use mobile I think a lot of people use Procreate, but I use medibang.. I don't know much of the app though, I just kinda downloaded it
On pc, I personally like SAI, but Photoshop and Clip studio exists, Clip goes on sale a lot so its much cheaper than SAI and PS. If you can't buy a program, I suggest Fire Alpaca I tried it out when I reset my computer and didn't have SAI, and to my surprise I really liked it, though there are only a few brushes to pick from.
Depends on what you have available, like either a drawing tablet or whatnot, but in general besides what's been mentioned - GIMP and Krita are also free programs for drawing use. Think there's also Medibang?
Just try em out and use whatever suits your purposes best.
Here's my two cents and a wall of text to go with it :3
Please set your username to your site one, so an arbiter can assign your website rank to you. Otherwise, inactives/random people will be kicked. If you have a preferred name, put that in front, then in brackets put your site name afterward.
This chat is more convenient in the matter that you can directly paste screenshots (if you have Windows, use the Snipping Tool program) into chat and it loads :P It's also quicker to get feedback from other artists on the site. Discord's available as a web browser, separate program, and a phone app. So use whichever one's more convenient to ya~
Ay, we recently announced Artist Of The Month on the news page, which can be found by clicking the "News" button at the top of website. Please don't hesitate to PM me if you have any feedback/suggestions on the idea, as we'd love to hear them .
Art pouring out of yer brain? Too many threads to handle? We suggest you make ONE thread and post all of your art as new posts to keep track of them all and make them easy to find ^^ Then you could also look back on old feedback
